Five passengers will be able to relax in the Edge’s comfortable seating with additional perks. The driver’s seat can be equipped with 10-ways of adjustability. You can even add optional heating and cooling options, if you like, to go along with the standard Dual-Zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control. The available leather-trimmed sport bucket seats cradle you and provide extra support.

In the back, passengers can also get the added comfort of optional heated seats. Deeper in the back, there’s 39.2 cubic feet of cargo space, and it can expand to 73.4 cubic feet when you lower the back seats.

The standard SYNC® 4A system offers an immersive experience that drivers can only find in Ford models. To start, SYNC® 4A includes wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ capability, so you can connect your phone to the Edge. The centrally located 12-inch touchscreen becomes an extension of your phone's home screen, letting you access music, messages, and more while maintaining focus.

With SYNC® 4A, you'll also have access to the available Connected Built-In Navigation. Through cloud-based connections, you can see current updates on traffic, weather, and even gas prices. Voice recognition enhances this navigation system. Simply say, “Find Italian food”, and you'll have directions to a great restaurant.

Across all trim levels, the Edge comes with Ford Co-Pilot360™, a suite comprised of several standard safety and driver-assistance features. Ford Co-Pilot360™ sets the Ford Edge apart from others in its class.

Some of the features you'll find in the Ford Co-Pilot360™ suite include:

• Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking: Using camera technology, this feature detects a potential front collision. If you don't react fast enough, it will also automatically apply braking pressure.
• BLIS® (Blind-Spot Monitoring) with Cross-Traffic Alert: For all the angles you can't see, the BLIS® system acts as your second set of eyes. This feature detects and alerts you to vehicles traveling in your blind spot. Additionally, Cross-Traffic Alert lets you know of traffic in your rear path when you're in Reverse.
• Auto High-Beam Headlamps: This feature paves a brighter path for you by turning your high beams on and off when a vehicle approaches up to 2,000 feet in front of you.
